We have an opportunity for a small number of Regional Manager roles to join the SuperValu Sales team covering the Lenister Region.
Reporting to the SuperValu Sales Director the purpose of the role is to maximize sales with assigned stores by optimizing the execution of the MRPI model through supporting and advising retailers and developing long term relationships between MRPI and our Retail Partners.
The role responsibilities include the following but not limited to:
- Work with Retail IT, Retail Accounting and Trading to support and advise stores on implementation of appropriate processes of measuring and merchandising.
- Work with retailer to maximise the consumer offer through the successful implementation of both range and promotional activity.
- Work with Retail Accounting, SuperValu Sales, Marketing and the retailers, to develop action plans for stores based on effective analysis of appropriate sales and market data and awareness of competitor activity
- Support the business to bring our brand to life – work on cross functional teams, engage with our retail partners, action feedback.
- Carry out business analysis in conjunction with the retailer to identify areas of potential growth in sales, margin and profit and develop action plans to deliver same.
- Develop annual business plans in conjunction with store owners & support retailers in delivering the brand position – Real Food, Real People.
- Support and challenge business and retail partners in delivering business projects
- Promote best practice in-store in all areas through various initiatives (Store Audits, Excellence Ireland)
- Monitor key performance standards in-store and agree action plans for improvement in conjunction with the retailer
- Promote best practice in all HR issues including Health & Safety, Employee Well-being, Training and Development
- Provide leadership through coaching, motivation and communication
- Manage and conduct work activities in such a way as to ensure the safety, health and welfare at work of all employees
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Experience working on retail projects as part of a cross functional team
- High Level experience in Store Management
- 3 – 4 years knowledge/experience in Grocery Trade
- Third level qualification specialising in Sales/Marketing/Food/Business advantageous
- Full driving licence
- Excellent Communication & Influencing Skills
- Customer Focus
- Commercial acumen
- 5+ year’s experience at a retail operational management level
- Project management experience
- Proven track record of delivering and improving operational standards and results in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to influence change and deliver results
- Systematic problem-solving skills

Musgrave operate a Work Smart hybrid working model where you can alternate your time between connecting and collaborating in the business and working remotely. Occasional business travel to other locations will also be required.
