The Supply Chain Intern will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in various aspects of supply chain management, including procurement, inventory management, and demand planning. This internship provides an excellent chance to develop crucial skills and knowledge in the field of supply chain while working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
COMPENSATION
This is a summer internship position with a full-time schedule based on the availability of the intern. Compensation will be provided in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations governing internships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support procurement activities:
  • Create and maintain a hierarchical data structure for product information.
  • Assist in sourcing products and obtaining quotes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Assist with inventory management:
  • Perform regular inventory analysis to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory performance metrics, such as stock turnover and fill rate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements for inventory management.
  • Aid in demand planning:
  • Collect and analyze demand data to forecast future product requirements.
  • Assist in creating and monitoring the accuracy of demand plans.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain function.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to implement process changes and optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Assist in documenting and communicating new processes and procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier information.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
