Support Worker – This role requires a young male support worker to provide tailored support to a young male participant.
Location: Point Cook (including surrounding suburbs)
Employment Type: Casual / Part-Time (flexible hours available)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced NDIS Support Worker to join our growing team in Point Cook and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting people with disability to live independently and achieve their personal goals.
About the Role
As a NDIS Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to participants in their homes and within the community. Supports may include daily living assistance, community access, personal care, and skill development, depending on individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, respectful, and participant-focused support
- Assist with daily living activities and personal care (where required)
- Support participants to access the community and attend appointments
- Promote independence, choice, and control
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Follow NDIS practice standards and organisational policies
Essential Requirements
To be considered, applicants must have:
- Minimum 1 year experience as an NDIS Support Worker or similar role
- All NDIS compliance documents current and up to date, including:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid & CPR certificate
- Manual Handling certificate
- Infection Control training
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential)
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or related field
- Experience supporting participants with complex needs
