System Support Specialist

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Sales this person will have good industry knowledge in delivery and implementation of system platforms for clients, business acumen and knowledge in either of the following sectors foodservice / Hospitality or Healthcare combined with a customer centric approach. Responsibilities include building and strengthening our Procurement Platform system (Pi) and any other platform the business feels necessary to support the technology offerings for our clients in Avendra.


Job Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, timely and consistent reporting to the Head of Sales
  • Support the Avendra Team in evolving the systems, processes, and making recommendations to ensure the client procurement platform delivers in all its goals and objectives.
  • Deliver comprehensive demonstration for Pi based on feature/service availability in country.
  • Evangelise benefits of system.
  • Identify any unusual or difficult client requirements that need considering before sale can complete.
  • Ensure the sales team doesn't sell anything that can't be delivered.
  • Support Head of Sales in understanding / completing the fact find document.
  • Deliver "hearts and minds" system demos for larger clients.
  • Provide local / face-to-face system training for clients if required.
  • Ensure delivery of system can meet pre-sales commitments.
  • Provide technical support to procurement manager to ensure supplier delivers required data/IT services.
  • Support Sales contact with obtaining client user details and training requirements capture.
  • Work effectively with other departments when onboarding new clients ensuring they are fully briefed in all relevant information.
  • Take responsibility for managing the training plan, including determining who (local tech support or central team) delivers what (training modules), how (Teams/in person) and when (scheduling).
  • Deliver training as required per the training plan.
  • Meet and exceed KPI’S using all supports available.


Requirements


  • A proven track in Project management and in achieving results.
  • A good knowledge of using Excel.
  • A good understanding of Platform procurement systems
  • Understanding of procurement sector.
  • Strong communication skills are essential with the ability to work within a fluid, fast paced environment.
  • The candidate should have high levels of organisation skills, attention to detail and be extremely process driven.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Full clean driving licence.
