The Role

We’re seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Partner (12-month contract) to help NGS attract, source and select the best talent. Managing the recruitment process end-to-end you will work closely with Leaders to understand their talent requirements, develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience.

Working closely with the People Partnering Manager, you will help develop & implement strategies to improve our employer value proposition, and develop hiring manager capability to improve our employer brand and visibility. Key focus areas include:
Partner with NGS people leaders to develop a recruitment strategy and subsequent plan for their vacant or newly created position
Assist people leaders in developing position descriptions for their vacant roles
Conduct salary benchmarking to inform remuneration decisions for vacant roles
Writing and posting job creative ads on platforms
Proactive candidate sourcing
Candidate management activities including shortlist and screen, communication throughout the recruitment process and advising applicants if they’re unsuccessful
Organise and participate in interviews with hiring managers
Develop strategic interview guides and questionnaires for interviews
Coach hiring managers through the recruitment and selection process
Conduct reference checks on successful applicants
Participate in negotiation of agreements with external recruitment providers as required
Develop & implement employer value proposition initiatives to continuously improve our attraction offering
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline our attraction strategies and enhance stakeholder satisfaction & candidate experience
Provide support to the People Partnering Manager in partnering with the business on other employee life-cycle items as needed

About You

Our ideal candidate has:
At least 7+ years recruitment and/or generalist HR experience
Experience using recruitment management software and ATS’
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the contemporary approaches to behavioural interviewing, situational interviewing and other assessment techniques
Proven ability to develop recruitment campaigns using a variety of assessment techniques to source high potential talent and future leaders
Previous experience coaching people leaders on recruitment strategies

The following are highly regarded:
Tertiary qualifications in HR or equivalent relevant experience
Some understanding of the superannuation industry, in particular the industry super sector
Experience in recruiting roles within with Investments, IT, Digital Marketing, Superannuation or Financial Services.
