Taxi Driver

At White Hawk Enterprises , We are looking for
2 x Taxi Drivers with immediate Start in Blenheim.

2 x Taxi driver in Wellington Region with immediate start.

As a Taxi Driver you will be performing :

• Using mobile computer systems and radio networks to log into waiting passenger information
• Picking up passengers at designated locations or when hailed
• Assisting clients with the loading and unloading of their baggage and other personal belongings, as needed.
• Checking passenger destinations and determining most appropriate route
• Selecting the fastest route to the client's destination, unless otherwise requested.
• Driving clients to their destinations.
• Informing clients of services and attractions that may be of interest to them.
• Adhering to road regulations.
• Ensuring that clients remain safe throughout the journey.
• Collecting fares and processing fare payments
• Ensuring that the vehicle remains clean and in excellent working condition.
• May collect and deliver parcels Taxi Driver Requirements: a) Must have Valid New Zealand or International Licence Equivalent to Class 1 from last two years. b) Must not have any prior serious driving convictions c) Clear criminal record. d) Prior experience in a similar position will be preferred e) Familiarity with GPS software. f) Professional appearance. g) Excellent organizational and time management skills. h) Outstanding interpersonal skills. i) Ability to work shifts, on weekends, and on public holidays, as needed. Please note, this is a full-time position with rostered/split shifts, including weekends, Public holidays and night shifts. Applicant should be available as per the rostered shifts including weekends.

Must Hold a P endrosement and 2 years New Zealand driving experience or equivalent.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Night shift
• Public holidays
• Rotating roster
• Weekend availability
