Description:
The Team Leader is responsible for managing staff and resources to ensure operational and contractual compliance for Bamara in our Inclusive Employment Australia program in their region. The Team Leader will oversee and manage the people management strategies, change processes and continuous improvement of Bamara programs and services whilst running a small caseload of their own when needed. They will identify and promote new ways of working to empower staff to deliver on the strategic business plan, create new business opportunities as well as drive the implementation of new programs and ongoing performance in Bamara. The Team Leader supports Bamara to meet and exceed operational and financial targets by developing and implementing strategies to reach and exceed our business plan.

The Team Leader will look after the Wollongong, Shoalhaven and Tamworth region, travel between the regions will be require as needed.

Skills and Experiences:
Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in managing operations within the employment services sector
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement inclusive employment strategies
  • Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive inclusive employment initiatives
  • Experience in project management, including planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to inclusive employment
  • Proven track record in achieving targets and outcomes within a similar role
  • Relevant qualifications in business management, human resources or related field
  • WWCC, police check, driver's license and vehicle
