Job Overview

The Store Service Staff / Cashier / Team Member is responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing customer transactions accurately, preparing products according to company standards, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities1. Customer Service

  • Greet customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
  • Assist customers in selecting yogurt flavors, toppings, and other menu items.
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide product recommendations based on preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Ensure every customer receives exceptional service and a positive store experience.

2. Order Taking

  • Accurately take and process customer orders.
  • Communicate special requests, dietary restrictions, or modifications to the appropriate team members.
  • Ensure orders are prepared and served correctly.

3. Cash Handling and POS Operations

  • Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately.
  • Process cash, credit card, debit card, and digital payment transactions.
  • Provide accurate change and issue receipts when required.
  • Follow all cash-handling procedures and company policies.

4. Cash Register Reconciliation

  • Perform end-of-shift cash reconciliation.
  • Ensure sales records match cash, card, and digital payment transactions.
  • Report any discrepancies immediately to the Shift Leader.
  • Maintain accuracy and accountability in all financial transactions.

5. Product Preparation

  • Prepare yogurt mixes according to company recipes and quality standards.
  • Prepare fruits and other toppings following approved cutting procedures and portion standards.
  • Ensure product freshness and quality at all times.

6. Product Knowledge

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu offerings, promotions, seasonal products, and ingredients.
  • Understand potential allergens and dietary information to assist customers effectively.
  • Recommend products based on customer preferences.

7. Cleanliness, Sanitation, and Organization

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
  • Clean counters, yogurt machines, topping stations, and work areas regularly.
  • Properly wash and sanitize utensils, equipment, and food preparation areas.
  • Restock supplies such as cups, napkins, straws, and toppings as needed.
  • Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

8. Stock and Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels of yogurt, toppings, packaging materials, and store supplies.
  • Assist in receiving, storing, and replenishing inventory.
  • Monitor product usage and minimize waste.
  • Support inventory counts and ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Coordinate inventory concerns with the Shift Leader and Area Manager.

9. Teamwork

  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assist colleagues during peak hours and busy periods.
  • Communicate effectively with the Shift Leader and team regarding customer needs, operational concerns, and store requirements.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

10. Uniform and Grooming Standards

  • Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times.
  • Follow company grooming standards and dress code requirements.
  • Wear the complete company uniform and nameplate while on duty.

11. Other Duties

  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Shift Leader, Store Supervisor, or Management as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate, Senior High School Graduate, or College Level.
  • Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer service is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Flexible to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellenc
