Technical Account Manager (Cyber Security Presales)

Cybersecurity Technical Account Manager (TAM) with Pre-Sales

Responsibilities

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cybersecurity Technical Account Manager

(TAM) with strong pre-sales expertise to join our team. The candidate will act as a trusted

advisor to customers, ensuring successful solution adoption, account growth, and long-term

relationships, while also supporting pre-sales activities including solution presentations,

PoCs, and proposal preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Account Management

 Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal cybersecurity

teams.

 Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across

assigned accounts.

 Understand customer business and security needs to align with appropriate solutions

and services.

 Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth through proactive engagement.

 Provide technical oversight for solution deployment, integration, and adoption.

 Conduct regular account reviews and prepare reports on solution performance and ROI.

Pre-Sales Activities

 Support the sales team in engaging with customers by providing technical expertise in

meetings and calls.

 Conduct solution demonstrations, workshops, and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) evaluations.

 Assist in developing proposals, RFP responses, solution architectures, and technical

documentation.

 Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into business value for customers.

 Collaborate with product and delivery teams to design and recommend tailored security

solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

 Work closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure successful customer

onboarding and ongoing adoption.

 Provide feedback to product teams on customer needs, industry trends, and solution

improvements.

 Act as a customer advocate internally, ensuring swift resolution of technical issues and

escalations.

Qualifications & Skills

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s

degree a plus).

 Experience in cybersecurity solutions, with at least 2+ years in Technical Account

Management or Pre-Sales roles.

 Strong knowledge of security domains such as: SIEM, SOC, EDR/XDR, IAM, Zero Trust,

Cloud Security, and Network Security.

 Hands-on technical expertise with cybersecurity tools (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Microsoft

Defender, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Splunk, etc.).

 Proven ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

 Strong presentation, documentation, and proposal-writing skills.

 Customer-focused mindset with excellent relationship-building skills.

Location & Travel

  • Based in Singapore.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25–40%) depending on client/project needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,838.99 - $5,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Presale cyber security: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Technical account manager: 2 years (Preferred)

Location:

  • Singapore (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
