Technical Assistant (Marine Sector)

Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities:

· Sound technical knowledge of marine engineering, shipbuilding & repair.

· Good understanding of international maritime regulations.

· Good communication & analytical skills.

· Must be willing to travel to vessels when required and be available 24/7 for emergency response.

· Working closely with your crew, you will ensure that the vessels are well-maintained and seaworthy

· You will monitor the daily operations of the vessels assigned

· Preparing technical specifications for docking.

· Be involved in preparing the vessels for inspections and audits.

· Prior experience with technical management will be an advantage.

· Proactive with active participation.

Requirement:

· Candidates should possess a tertiary education, with 2 years of experience in a similar capacity in the maritime industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,500.00 per month
