If you’re a Technical Sales Representative interested in process analyzers and instrumentation, we’re interested in you. Our Technical Sales Representative will cover part of the Calgary and South/Southwest Alberta.
- Reporting to the VP Sales and Service, the candidate will have an impact in the following way:
- Organize, manage and expand sales activities within an established territory by establishing a yearly sales plan towards meeting an annual objective
- Usage of existing CRM to manage all sales related activities from lead to order
- Promote Novatech's products and services to existing and new customers
- Maintain and develop business relationship with customer base
- Develop product and analytical solution expertise
- Emphasize product features based on analysis of customers' needs, and on technical knowledge of the product capabilities and limitations
- Demonstrate and explain the operation and use of products
- Stay well informed of activities in the territory
- Assist Inside Sales in preparation of quotations and proposals
- Work in collaboration with our BDM, Analyzer Expert, Service and Integration teams
- Participate in exhibitions, shows, seminars and other promotional events
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
- Strong ability to identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Independent, self-motivated to learn, adaptable to change
- Friendly, energetic and outgoing, team player with a positive attitude
- Good organization and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other sales-related software.
What we are looking for:
- DEC or BSc. in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Industry and/or sales experience of 3-5 years
- Valid driver's license
