The Technical Writer will develop accurate documentation including creating SOPs, procedures, and related documentation for the technology department in alignment with regulations and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information regarding workflows, procedures, and standards.
- Plan, organize, and draft standard operating procedures and other related procedural documentation in alignment with standards and best practices.
- Revise, update, and refresh existing procedural documentation.
- Manage a comprehensive library of technical documentation to ensure completion.
- Review, identify, analyze, and recommend business process and workflow changes and/or improvements that impact the member experience.
- A Bachelor's degree is required
- 2 years of experience as a technical writer, document specialist, or related experience in technical environment
- Proficiency in writing and editing technical content for various documentation materials
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in technical writing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to established guidelines and standards
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications
- Creativity and adaptability to plan and organize content effectively to meet project goals
$30 - $ 35 / hr
