About the Position

As Technology Infrastructure Architect, you’ll work within our Infrastructure team to develop and plan the strategic growth of our AI Technical infrastructure. From our on-premise testbeds to cutting-edge cloud solutions, you’ll shape the future of the systems that fuel AI research, innovation, and applications across Sweden

Key Responsibilities:

• Define architecture, and develop and execute strategic development plans for our on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Collaborate with experts in technology infrastructure, AI researchers, and partners to align our infrastructure development with future needs.
• Direct support to AI researchers using the infrastructure.
• Participate in planning, operation and maintenance of our on-prem infrastructure.
• Develop our administrative processes ensuring our technology infrastructure is relevant, secure, efficient, compliant, and a platform for innovation and experimentation.
• Drive knowledge transfer and foster partnerships with our partners which includes, e.g., global tech leaders, public sector, startups, and academia.

Required responsibilities

We’re looking for a skilled leader with a blend of technical expertise and a people-first mindset.

Professional Experience:

• 5+ years in managing complex tech projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of hybrid environments: cloud, on-prem, IoT, and edge devices.
• Proficiency with linux based infrastructure for research and innovation, preferable with AI focus.
• Proficiency with virtualization and orchestration frameworks.
• Proficiency with automation languages, tools and frameworks.
• Strong project management skills with a results-oriented mindset.

Educational Background:

• Master Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Personal Traits:

• Comfortable navigating evolving challenges and creating novel solutions.
• A collaborative team player and an effective communicator.
• Excited to support partners and drive impactful projects.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with open-source development.
• Fluency in Swedish is a plus (English is required).

The position is at Lindholmens Science Park -the main host organisation of AI Sweden, starting with a two year contract, with possibilities of extension.
