Telehealth Doctors

Description

Dociva is onboarding AHPRA-registered medical practitioners for its Australian telehealth platform, with an initial focus on online medical certificate applications and broader telehealth services planned as the platform expands.

Early practitioner opportunity

As an early practitioner joining Dociva’s clinical network, you may have the opportunity to be considered for early workflow access, preferred availability discussions, and future service expansion opportunities as the platform grows.

We are seeking doctors who value safe, professional, patient-centred care and are interested in flexible remote telehealth work across Australia.

This contractor role may suit practitioners looking to add telehealth work alongside their current practice, with the ability to work remotely from anywhere in Australia.

About the role

Practitioners will review patient-submitted applications, conduct telehealth consultations where clinically required, assess clinical suitability, and document outcomes in accordance with Dociva’s clinical governance framework, policies, and procedures.

Our initial clinical workflow will include online medical certificate applications, including video consultations where required for multi-day certificate requests.

As Dociva expands, broader telehealth services may include general consultations, prescriptions, referrals, and other clinically appropriate digital health services.

Why join Dociva?

  • Flexible remote contractor work
  • Ability to provide care from anywhere in Australia
  • Structured clinical workflows and platform-based documentation
  • Governance-led approach to telehealth
  • Patient-first, clinically appropriate care model
  • Supportive onboarding and clear clinical policies
  • Opportunity to join an early-stage Australian healthcare technology platform
  • Preferred availability can be discussed to suit both practitioner and patient demand

About you

We are looking for practitioners who are clinically careful, professional, and comfortable delivering care through digital health channels.

You will need:

  • Current AHPRA registration and authority to practise medicine in Australia
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Ability to provide telehealth services from within Australia
  • Strong clinical judgement and documentation standards
  • Comfortable using technology in a secure online environment
  • Reliable internet connection and a private consultation setting
  • Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and professional conduct

Availability

This is a flexible contractor role. Practitioners can express their preferred availability during the application or onboarding process.

Dociva may discuss preferred availability with practitioners to support patient demand and service continuity.

How to express interest?

To express interest, please send your CV, AHPRA registration details, indemnity confirmation, and preferred availability to: careers@dociva.com.au
