Temporary Housekeeping Assistant - Part Time

We are currently looking for a TEMPORARY HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT to join our team in Mount Tabor Nursing Home and Care Centre, Sandymount, Dublin 4. PLEASE NOTE - MORNING SHIFTS - MUST BE AVAILABLE MONDAY TO SUNDAY.

This is a specified purpose relief cover contract on a 20 hour basis per week.

Role Profile:

To maintain the overall cleanliness of the Care Centre and Nursing Home by promoting, through high standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness, an environment conducive to the care and nursing of the elderly.

Qualifications:

• Previous training in the following areas: Manual Handling, Infection Control

Responsibilities:

• The role will include vacuuming/cleaning/polishing and all the activities associated with hygiene in a health care facility.
• Ensure that infection control is a priority by adhering to all the Mount Tabor polices and by wearing the correct PPE.
• Ensure all documentation / records are completed and stored appropriately.
• Work as part of a team by ensuring there is good communication with the Housekeeping Manager and other members of the team.
• Escalate all work issues and health and safety issues are highlighted to the Housekeeping Manager.

Work Pattern

• Hours: Hours – 6 hour shifts. Five days over seven, will include weekends and bank/public holidays. - MORNING SHIFTS ONLY

Job Types: Part-time, Specified-purpose

Pay: €14.39 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
