The Job’s Mission:
As Territory Sales Manager, you will help us deliver on our mission of making healthcare better by promoting and selling Stryker’s Trauma medical devices, covering the Oslo region & Østlandet. Our Trauma division offers market-leading implants for the treatment of long and small bone fractures. What you will do:
In your new role, you will start with a familiarization phase with product trainings to learn about our product portfolio and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Prospect new customers, understand their needs, while also providing ongoing service to existing customers: fostering trust relationships and customer loyalty.
Plan and implement strategies in the sales process and conduct negotiations including with surgeons, hospital administration and purchasing departments.
With the product and clinical knowledge you’ve developed, you will inform, advise and train medical and surgical professionals also during demonstrations. You will also provide clinical support in the operating room when needed.
Prepare orders for interested customers and be a reliable partner for our customers also during order follow-up and after-sales.
Participate congresses, seminars and business meetings to identify potential new customers and to expand your knowledge for customer contact.
Work closely with Trauma team members and also with peers of other divisions of Stryker towards cross-departmental opportunities.
What you need:
Required:
4+ years of sales experience.
Degree or equivalent, preferably in fields such as business, physiotherapy, nursing, healthcare, or in any other relevant areas.
Excellent interpersonal communications and persuasion skills – with proficiency in Norwegian and English.
Relationship skills: you appreciate contact with a wide variety of people and enjoy building and maintaining connections. You also consider yourself a great team player.
You are enthusiastic about (medical) technology – your resilience and desire to sell technical products with the best customer service are important elements to you.
You demonstrate adaptability, organizational and analytical skills.
You have a valid driver’s license as this position involves regular customer visits.
Preferred:
Sales experience in industries such as MedTech, Pharmaceuticals, BioTech, healthcare or related is not mandatory, but it is an advantage.
Orthopedics/anatomy knowledge is not mandatory, but it would be an asset.
