This project involves installing new equipment within an existing industrial facility. The work area is non‑operational, and all workers must complete an on‑site induction before starting. This role will work closely with a project lead, and because most tasks are completed in pairs, reliability and teamwork are essential.
Title: Trade Assistant
Duration: Approximately 3 weeks
Start: 23rd of March 2026
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with assembling and installing safety fencing
- Drilling, fixing, and anchoring components into concrete
- Support mechanical fitter with general installation tasks
- Move parts, materials, and components as required
- Help maintain a safe and organised work zone
Experience & Qualifications
- Ability to use hand and power tools confidently (own tools desirable)
- Mechanically minded with previous TA or labouring experience
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Comfortable with drilling and concrete anchoring
- Forklift licence/ticket desirable
