We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Trainee/Qualified Dental Nurse to join our team at Deansgrange Dental Clinic. Our modern and well-equipped dental practice provides a wide range of dental services, and we are looking for a team player who shares our commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials and providing chair-side support
- Ensuring that the dental surgery is clean, sterile, and equipped with the necessary tools and materials for each patient
- Maintaining accurate patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Developing and processing dental x-rays
- Providing patient education on oral hygiene and dental care, including advice on brushing and flossing techniques
- Managing the dental laboratory, including coordinating the delivery and pick-up of dental prosthetics and ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and accuracy.
Requirements
- Full Training provided for Trainee Dental Nurse
- A minimum of 1 years' experience as a Qualified Dental Nurse
- A Diploma in Dental Nursing or equivalent qualification for Qualified Dental Nurse
- Dental Council of Ireland registration for a Qualified Dental Nurse
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Good knowledge of dental software and computer skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
