About the job:
We’re looking for an experience Truck Driver & Labourer, to join our team of everyday heroes in Christchurch!
The role involves:
- Operating Class 2 vehicles to transport materials, equipment and supplies to project sites.
- Assisting the team with general civil construction tasks.
- Supporting installation, repair and upgrade of infrastructure across Christchurch.
- Operating small plant, tools and equipment (training provided where needed).
- Maintain high-quality workmanship, compliance and strong health & safety standards.
What you’ll need:
- Full class 1 and class 2 licences are essential with confidence operating tippers or similar vehicles.
- Experience in civil construction, labouring or water services.
- A strong work ethic, reliability and the ability to work well in a team.
- You will need to be physically fit and health & safety focused.
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, Ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
