Urgent: Accounting Manager (Wfh)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, ensuring they are accurate and
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring variances and making recommendations for cost control.
  • Audit and Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all regulatory and tax compliance requirements are met.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the accounting department, implementing best practices and streamlining workflows.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing valuable insights to the executive team.
  • Cash Management: Manage cash flow, monitor banking activities, and optimize cash resources to meet the company's financial obligations.
  • Vendor and Client Relations: Maintain positive relationships with vendors and clients, resolving financial-related inquiries and issues.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize financial systems and software, ensuring efficient and accurate financial reporting.
  • Tax Management: Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • High ethical standards and integrity
  • Can work on PST/ night shift schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift

Experience:

  • Financial analysis: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Financial Planning, budgeting and forecasting: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Accruals and balance sheet reconcilliations: 3 years (Preferred)
