Van Driver

We are seeking to recruit Van Driver who will be responsible for the effective, efficient and customer friendly delivery of products to Customers, as part of the overall warehouse and distribution operation.

Key responsibilities –

• Day-to-day completion of the delivery of all assigned customer orders
• Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, as required
• Completion of delivery to a location/ floor/ store area within the drop point if agreed as part of our overall service
• Collection of returns
• Completion of all Health & Safety requirements, for example daily vehicle checks
• Completion of all paperwork requirements, for example a signed proof of delivery or returns documentation
• As part of the Operations Team there may be a requirement to assist other drivers, for example a two person delivery, or to assist in Warehouse Operations on occasions when all deliveries have been assigned
• This is not a definitive list and there will be other duties required a part of the Operations Team:

Essential requirements.

• Excellent customer service attitude
• Reliable, with an excellent timekeeping and attendance record
• Driving License suitable for an Under 3.5 Ton Van (Cat B is minimum)
• A good general level of health and fitness as this is a role requiring the unloading and loading of customer orders in boxes and pallets

Preferred requirements

• Experience of warehouse/delivery operations around Dublin
• Good level of English

Other information

This role will based at the Company site in Rathcoole and vehicles are returned here every day.

Basic working week is 37.5 hours Mon-Friday 8.30am – 5pm
