About the Role
As Venue Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of Devil’s Corner, leading a passionate team to deliver memorable moments for every visitor. You’ll oversee every detail of the venue, from operations and customer service to partnerships with local food providers, ensuring everything runs smoothly and the site remains vibrant and inviting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and lead a dynamic team, fostering a culture of excellence and engagement.
  • Site Management: Ensure the venue is impeccably maintained and operates seamlessly, showcasing the best of Devil’s Corner.
  • Food Partnerships: Collaborate closely with our food partners to deliver a cohesive and exceptional culinary experience that complements our wines.
  • Operations Excellence: Oversee daily activities, from cellar door service to events, ensuring top-notch hospitality and smooth logistics.
  • Financial Acumen: Develop budgets, manage the P&L, and identify growth opportunities that align with our strategic goals.
  • Customer Experience: Craft unforgettable brand experiences that leave visitors eager to return.
  • Safety & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Skills and Experiences:
About You
You’re a hospitality trailblazer with at least 8 years of management experience in tourism, hospitality, or marketing. You bring strong operational expertise, commercial savvy, and a hands-on approach to leadership. Your passion for customer experiences and local food and wine culture sets you apart.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • RSA certification and a current Driver’s License.
  • Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and travel when needed.
