Vessel Operations Assistant Manager/Senior Officer (Dry Bulk- Voyage & Time Charter)

Focused on their product offerings, this company has grown rapidly. Currently, they seek for a Vessel Operations Assistant Manager/Senior Officer to assist them in their Operations team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage/handle the team dealing with vessel operations

Analyse sales and purchase positions and optimize logistics flow

Implement shipping/freight procurement strategies (procurement, logistics plans etc)

Keep up with latest markets news and trends

Ensure smooth shipping schedules/timelines

Ensure compliance of the company’s regulations

Deal with any operational/contractual disputes

Manage ship bunker’s performance and usage to ensure optimal efficiency and profitability

Work closely with Bunker Traders, Operations, Trade Finance, Finance and other relevant departments

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Degree Holder (Business, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Finance) or any other relevant educations

Minimum 5 years of hands-on Vessel Operations experience in the Commodities industry or Shipping industry handling Dry bulk (Ideally leading/mentoring a team of Operators)

Highly organized, meticulous, team player, has good interpersonal and communication skills
