Job Description:


Main Duties

Reporting to the Manager of Digital Marketing, this position is responsible for creating video content that aligns with SIGA’s brand messaging and marketing objectives. This role will capture, edit, and produce high-quality video footage for a variety of platforms, including social media, websites, and advertising campaigns. Additionally, the Videographer will collaborate with the Marketing team to develop visual storytelling strategies that engage target audiences, enhance brand awareness, and support marketing initiatives through creative and impactful video content.



Responsibilities Include: Capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content for SIGA Rewards, casino marketing initiatives, and other departments such as HR and Corporate Affairs. Collaborating with Marketing teams and other stakeholders to develop creative concepts for videos that meet the strategic needs of each initiative. Maintaining videography equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition, and managing inventory of necessary production tools. Managing video production schedules and timelines and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of content. Optimizing video content for multiple platforms, ensuring that all technical specifications are met (i.e. resolution, file formats, etc.) for use across social media, internal screens, and external digital systems. Participating in other projects and activities as required, in support of SIGA’s priorities.



Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidates are subject to a background check as well are required to obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)/Indigenous Gaming Regulators (IGR).
  • The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
  • Must possess valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
  • Some SIGA locations operate in a high sensory environment. You may be required to work in an environment where you will be exposed to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, flashing and blinking lights, and a congested workplace. SIGA adheres to all occupational health and safety regulations and makes every effort to limit the adverse effects of these elements.

  • Compliance with all regulatory requirements as may be applicable to your position including but not limited to both SLGA requirements and the Anti-Money Laundering requirements set out in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and regulations and policies made thereunder by Canada and FINTRAC.


Job Requirements:


Education

  • Successful completion of a two-year diploma in Videography, Multimedia Arts, Digital Design or a related field.
  • Certification in Drone Videography or Motion Graphics is considered an asset.


Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in producing content for social media, commercials and/or corporate events.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
