Virtual Medical Assistant – Insurance Verification Representative

Advanced Medical Solutions is seeking a Virtual Medical Assistant - Insurance Verification Representative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments using online portals or payer calls
• Accurately enter insurance details into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Coordinate with scheduling, billing, and clinical teams to ensure accurate service delivery
• Maintain documentation of all verification activity

Qualifications:

• at least 1+ year of experience in insurance verification or medical billing (virtual experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of major insurance providers, policies, and pre-authorization processes
• Proficiency with EMR systems and payer websites (e.g., Availity, Navinet, etc.)
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
• Experience handling Mental health/behavioral health clinic is a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

Begins at $800 USD per Month

10 days of PTO
