Duties

• Responsibilities

Hostess:

• Greet guests and manage waitlists professionally
• Seat guests efficiently while balancing table flow
• Answer phones and assist with takeout coordination
• Communicate clearly with servers and management
• Maintain an organized front entrance and host stand

Waitstaff:

• Provide friendly, attentive service to guests
• Take accurate food and beverage orders
• Deliver food promptly and check on guest satisfaction
• Maintain knowledge of menu and specials
• Work as a team to ensure smooth, efficient service

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or waitstaff in fine dining or high-energy restaurant environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or Toast is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and enthusiastically
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and basic food handling procedures
• Experience with upselling techniques and sales-driven approaches to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
