Walker Zanger - Distribution Sales Executive - Remote (Northeast Usa)

Position Summary: Leads and manages all sales activities to achieve company revenue and growth objectives. This role is responsible for developing strategic sales plans within current and expanding client base.

This is a remote position supporting the Northeast United States region. The ideal candidate would reside in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, or Eastern Pennsylvania.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with corporate goals and market opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and customer data to identify opportunities, adjust pricing strategies, and optimize sales margins.
  • Establish and manage sales territories, quotas, and performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and dealers to support business growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with marketing, operations, and customer service.
  • Prepare and present periodic sales reports, forecasts, and competitive analyses to senior leadership.
  • Oversee product positioning, standardization, and simplification to ensure profitability.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and association meetings to promote brand visibility and expand market presence.
  • Support product development initiatives by relaying customer insights and market feedback.
  • Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Manage personal expenses to align with approved budgets and financial goals.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of successful B2B outside sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of automobile insurance.
  • Reliable personal transportation capable of carrying company products as needed.
  • Professional business attire and appearance required.

Travel:

  • Ability to travel regionally up to 75% of the time.
  • Overnight travel required for meetings, training, or client visits.

Schedule:

  • Standard schedule: Monday through Friday, minimum of 8 hours per day.
  • Occasional evenings or weekends required for client meetings, trade shows, or industry events.

Lifting and carrying installation and flooring products, assembling and moving displays in Customer locations or to and from vehicles in various stages of completion will be commonplace and required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
