Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable DZ Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles, delivering materials to various job sites, and ensuring accuracy in shipment handling. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles and deliver flooring materials to designated locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments, including hand-bombing as necessary.
• Verify accuracy of shipments by reading and reviewing documentation.
• Adhere to transportation safety regulations and company policies.
• Work effectively in various weather conditions while ensuring timely deliveries.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers and team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to carefully follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.
• Preferably 25 years of age or older.
• Thorough knowledge of transportation routes within Ottawa and surrounding areas.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and performing job-related duties.
• Self-motivated, efficient, and committed to maintaining high work standards.
