Warehouse Assistant

Job Summary

URGENTLY SEEKING / IMMEDIATE START POSSIBLE

We have an excellent opportunity for a Full Time Warehouse Assistant at our Wigram, Christchurch branch.

We are looking for an individual with proven reliability and the right attitude. Experience not necessary. Must have a positive attitude and able to work in a small, friendly team.

Job Type: Full Time

Wage: $26.00 per hour

At least 34-45 hours/week available

We are open 7 days so the ideal candidate must be available to work on weekends

Requirements:

* A high level of physical fitness essential. Must be fit as job involves heavy lifting

* Positive attitude, excellent work ethic and time management skills

* Previous customer service experience a plus

* Strong interpersonal communication skills and a positive attitude

* Reach Truck skills (preferred but not essential)

* Basic computer skills

Responsibilities:

* Stock handling and stock control and management including container de vanning containers

* Administrative duties include managing courier labels

* Assisting customers with order pick ups

* Heavy lifting involved

* Ability to multi task in a busy environment

* Keeping the warehouse tidy and systematic
