Warehouse Material Handler

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and handling of materials within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various equipment used in materials handling, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and effectively.

Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as pallet jacks and cherry pickers to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Perform order picking tasks, ensuring accuracy in selecting items for shipment.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, maintaining a safe working environment.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and manage stock locations.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in materials handling or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and heavy lifting techniques.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including pallet jacks and cherry pickers.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Proficient in using RF scanners for inventory management.
• Excellent physical stamina, capable of lifting heavy loads regularly.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Pay: $20.85 - $21.68 per hour
