Warehouse Picker/ Packer For Online Business

Petworld.ie is one of Irelands leading online Pet suppliers, Based in Letterkenny. A parts time position has become available as a picker/ packer in our well established and ever expanding online pet business.

The role includes, but is not limited to;

• Picking and packing customers orders
• Checking the quality of the items being sent and packing the orders carefully, ensuring repeat custom
• Attention to detail to ensure customer satisfaction
• Housekeeping- ensuring the packing area is kept clean & tidy
• Working as part of a team & liaising with other team members to ensure all orders are sent in a timely manner
• Keeping customers updated via telephone and email on the status of their orders
• Helping with incoming deliveries of stock
• Health & Safety Awareness is essential (full training provided also)
• This is a physical job and the candidate will be lifting some heavy items so physical fitness is a must, (Manual handling required)

Requirements

• Forklift licence - Preferred
• Manual handling course -Preferred
• Fluency in English - both written and spoken
• IT literate and confident with computers

Hours 8am to 5pm

Days required Monday to Saturday

The Ideal person for this position is someone who takes pride in their work, someone that has a interest in getting to know the products well so that suitable alternatives can be offered if necessary, someone with strong attention to detail.

Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term

Pay: From €13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
