The Warehouse Support Administrator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining records of warehouse transactions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills to support the efficient operation of the warehouse.
Job Location: Coldwinters, Dublin
Responsibilities:Not limited to but will include:
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions.
Process receipts, record details of all orders, and manage stock data entry.
Processing Paperwork and Operating IT Systems:
Manage documentation and utilize IT systems as required.
Direct Communication with Customer Contacts:
Engage with customers via email and verbal communication, attending on and off-site meetings when necessary.
Opportunity Identification and Planning:
Identify opportunities and develop plans to meet deadlines, customer expectations, and best practices, while streamlining processes.
Schedule and oversee incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments.
Customer Concerns and Communication:
Address any customer concerns immediately and ensure all communications to customers are timely and in the agreed format.
WMS Maintenance and Support:
Help maintain the WMS, troubleshooting issues, raise tickets, and support operations.
Provide support to users regarding the Warehouse Management System and office software.
Assist in the preparation of operational reports and daily summary reports.
Dangerous Goods Shipments:
Prepare shipments of dangerous goods in compliance with regulations.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with risk-assessed policies and procedures relating to IT Security, Health and Safety.
Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and procedures within the warehouse.
Wear safety gear, such as high visibility clothing, as required.
The successful candidate will have:
Proficiency in warehouse management systems and office software (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel).
Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics coordination.
Customer focused, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
Professional telephone manners are essential.
Ability to prioritise workload and work in a pressurized environment.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Problem analysis and problem-solving.
Adaptable and capable of working on own initiative.
Ability to work effectively with other departments and utilise a team approach to accomplish goals.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong administration expertise.
