Warehouse Team Member

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and be proficient in operating various equipment. This role involves ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Duties

• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks for loading and unloading materials.
• Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including inspecting incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Handle heavy lifting of goods as required, ensuring safe practices are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
• Support mechanical operations by performing routine maintenance on equipment when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred; experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts is required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Familiarity with materials handling procedures and safety regulations (OSHA).
• Experience with order picking processes and shipping & receiving operations.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) consistently throughout the shift.
• Knowledge of construction practices may be beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay: $20.82 - $25.07 per hour
