Warehouse Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. Primary duty will be moving slabs of granite/quartz/quartzite. Fork Lift experience and certification a must. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, and supporting the overall logistics process. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to operate various warehouse equipment, and a commitment to safety standards.

Duties

• Perform inventory management tasks including tracking stock levels and conducting regular audits.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading materials.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for efficient order fulfillment and inventory control.
• Engage in materials handling, ensuring proper storage and organization of products within the warehouse.
• Execute shipping and receiving functions, including picking & packing orders accurately.

• Qualifications
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with familiarity in warehouse distribution practices.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes and experience with order picking is essential.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts and order pickers.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties (up to 50 lbs).
