Web Development Intern

As a Web Development Intern at Nexols, you will play a vital role in our development team, contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of web-based applications and websites. This internship offers an exciting platform for individuals with a passion for web technologies to enhance their skills and actively contribute to real-world projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to create visually appealing and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Assist in building server-side applications and databases to support web functionality, utilizing programming languages such as PHP, Python, or Node.js.
• Conduct testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the highest level of functionality and performance.
• Update and maintain website content, ensuring that all information is accurate and up to date.
• Assist in optimizing web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Document code changes, processes, and project updates to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and quality assurance, to deliver seamless web solutions.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in web development to contribute innovative ideas.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Knowledge of database systems and SQL queries is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and debug web applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated interest in web development through personal projects, coursework, or previous internships.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and work independently as well as in a team environment.
