Western Territory Manager

Access Flow Products, a member of the PSS Group of Companies, is an innovative, privately owned company that specializes in the distribution, development, and manufacturing of high-quality valves and fittings. We are a national company with locations across the country.

Position Summary:

AFP is seeking an Western Territory Manager with experience with Valves, Strainers and plumbing supplies. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Alberta, that includes travel within the province as well as Oakville Ontario for training at our head office. The candidate should ideally be located in Alberta and be based at our Edmonton Branch. You will be responsible for maintaining existing customer relationships as well as establishing new clients while working closely with the rest of the other Western provinces. We offer a benefits package after 3 months of employment as well as an employer matching RRSP program. Salary and Commission package will be based upon your level of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a new client base as well as servicing our existing client base within your assigned region of Western Canada.

•Schedule appointments, meeting existing customers in order to review product requirements and to determine additional opportunities.

•Organize joint sales calls with your distribution customers.

•Presenting professional demonstrations or presentations of company products.

Skills and Qualifications:

•Experience selling Valves, Strainers or plumbing products

•Ability to travel - overnight travel as required

•Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills

•Strong communication skills - Bilingual English/French speaking would be an asset.

•Able to prospect new accounts

•Able to work independently

•Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams

• Technical valve product knowledge and applications

•Previous experience managing distribution customers

Salary:

• Salary negotiable depending upon experience ($150,000 +)
