Yoga Teacher – YogaSix San Jose, CA

Pay: $33.50–$50 per class (based on experience)
Schedule: 2–5 classes per week

We’re currently seeking passionate, inspiring, and committed Yoga Teachers to lead transformative classes that support students at every stage of their yoga journey. What You’ll Do:

• Teach 2–5 engaging, high-energy classes per week, including formats like Y6 Restore, Y6 Power, Y6 Slow Flow, and Y6 Hot
• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all students feel supported, seen, and celebrated
• Deliver classes with consistent structure, clear cueing, and inspired intention that aligns with the YogaSix methodology
• Offer modifications and advancements to meet a range of abilities while keeping classes fun, safe, and accessible
• Build relationships with students and become a familiar, positive presence in their weekly routine
• Arrive prepared and professional, contributing to studio culture and community beyond just the mat
• Stay connected to your own growth—both as a teacher and a student

What You Bring:

• 200hr RYT certification (Yoga Alliance recognized or equivalent)
• At least 1 year of teaching experience preferred, but we’re open to rising stars who are confident and coachable
• Strong interpersonal skills—you genuinely enjoy meeting new people and creating meaningful moments
• Ability to teach with presence, power, and personality, not just a script
• Passion for yoga in all its forms—from high-intensity flows to grounding restorative practices
• Willingness to grow within the YogaSix method and receive feedback with curiosity and grace
• Flexible availability for mornings, evenings, or weekends (class schedule varies)
