Youth Education Tutor - Palmerston North

YMCA Education – Central are looking for a Youth Education Tutor for 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday at our Palmerston North site.

Tutors at Y Education change young lives on a daily basis through learning, influencing, and motivating rangatahi to reach their goals. To be successful in the role you’ll need excellent communication skills, high standards of integrity and an understanding of Te Ao Maori me ona Tikanga. A full driver’s licence is required and a strict attitude toward health and safety.

While tutoring experience is an advantage, we also value your skills and previous experience working with rangatahi. An understanding of adult learning and/or knowledge of NZ education standards will also be helpful in the role.
