Youth Soccer Scout

Key Responsibilities

• Attend local matches, tournaments, training sessions, and community events to identify promising young players.
• Build relationships with coaches, families, and local programs.
• Evaluation players' technical ability, physical attributes, and potential for development.
• Provide detailed scouting reports and recommendations to coaching staff.
• Help promote our program within the community and support player outreach efforts

Basic Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong understanding of soccer fundamentals, especially within youth soccer player development.
• Experience in coaching, scouting, or playing (preferred, but not required).
• Ability to recognize technical, tactical, and athletic potential in young players
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation or access to transit and willingness to travel to local matches in the Metro Vancouver Area.
• Willingness to scout weekend matches as needed; flexible scheduling is offered.
• Valid Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector (or willingness to obtain)

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $100 per game attended
• Provided Attire: Will be given a winter parka upon successful hiring
