Accounting Manager

Who are we looking for?

We're seeking an experienced finance leader who can lead day-to-day financial operations while delivering insights that support business growth. This role also includes supervising and developing a high-performing finance team.

Role Description

Oversee daily transactions for billing and collection as well as procure to payment processes, define financial policies and ensure the group of companies follows them, supervise and ensure month end routines such as:

• Bank reconciliations
• Accruals
• Approve necessary journal entries
• Correct valuation of assets
• Physical count of inventories
• Complete month end closing check-list

Ensure correct financial reporting

• Analyze monthly financial statements (Income statement and balance sheet) vs. prior year, vs. budget, trends.
• Prepare monthly presentation to upper management of financial performance with the corresponding narrative
• Provide monthly reports to different areas

Supervise tax compliance

• Ensure the monthly, quarterly and annual tax submissions are followed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure mitigation of any tax exposure
• Coordinate any BIR or other agency investigation

Lead the preparation of Audited Financial Statements (AFS)

• Work together with external auditors to timely and correctly submit to the corresponding agencies the AFS
• Coordinate with other areas for the submission of information to external auditors
• Submit AFS to corresponding agencies

Budget preparation

• Assist different business departments to prepare their budget
• Consolidate all budgets to prepare the group of companies’ overall budget
• Ensure monitoring and compliance of budget

Cash flow management

• Preparation of cash flow forecast
• Communicate cash flow requirements
• Provide options for cash optimization

Development

• Coach the team on daily routines
• Ensure the team’s development and defining the career path

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance related fields
• Preferred CPA
• Proven experience in financial management, accounting or related roles (4-5 years)
• Preferred audit firm background
• Proficient in excel
