JOB DESCRIPTION:

An Audio Visual (AV) Technician installs, operates, and maintains audio and visual equipment for various events and productions. They ensure the smooth functioning of sound systems, projectors, displays, lighting, and other related equipment, often working in diverse settings like corporate events, entertainment venues, educational institutions, and more. Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Setup and Operation:Setting up, configuring, and operating a wide range of AV equipment, including microphones, speakers, projectors, screens, cameras, lighting, and sound mixing boards.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance:Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with AV equipment, performing minor repairs, and ensuring all systems are in good working order.
• Event Support:Providing technical support for events, including setting up for presentations, conferences, performances, and other live productions.
• Collaboration:Working with event planners, presenters, and other team members to understand their AV needs and ensure a successful event.
• Equipment Management:Maintaining inventory of AV equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring proper storage of equipment.
• Quality Control:Ensuring the quality of audio and visual components during events, adjusting levels, and making necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
• Recording and Streaming:Operating recording equipment and streaming live events, depending on the needs of the event or organization.
• Training and Support:Providing basic training to users on how to operate AV equipment and troubleshoot simple issues.
• Safety Compliance:Ensuring all AV equipment and systems are installed and operated according to safety standards.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of audio and visual equipment, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues under pressure.
• Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with others and providing technical support.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage equipment, maintain inventory, and plan for events.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments.
• Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of Relevant Software: Familiarity with audio and video editing software, live streaming platforms, and other relevant tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
