About the Role
Patriot Bookkeeping LLC and also ABC Tax & Financial Services Inc are seeking an experienced and highly organized Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to oversee the day-to-day operations of both a established and growing bookkeeping firm and an established and growing tax practice—owned by the same individual and operating within the same office complex.
This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing technical accounting expertise with team management and client relationships. You will play a key role in ensuring both businesses run efficiently, profitably, and with exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee daily operations for both the bookkeeping firm and tax practice
· Manage and mentor staff, including scheduling, performance oversight, and workflow optimization
· Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear, professional communication
· Review financial statements, bookkeeping outputs, and tax-related work for accuracy and compliance
· Coordinate workload between both businesses to maximize efficiency during peak and off-peak seasons
· Implement and improve operational processes, systems, and internal controls
· Assist with strategic planning and growth initiatives
· Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting and tax regulations
Qualifications
· Active CPA license (required)
· Minimum 5 years of experience post-CPA exam
· Proven experience managing or supervising staff
· Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both clients and team members
· Solid background in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax operations
· High level of organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
· Ability to manage multiple priorities across two related business lines
