About the role

Join the dynamic team at Red Dog Brewery as a Chef. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious meals for our patrons in our bustling brewery located in Mackay, Queensland. Are you creative and have passion and drive? Can you give our customers an amazing food experience?

What you'll be doing

• Preparing high-quality, creative meals from scratch using fresh, seasonal ingredients
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen to ensure food safety and hygiene standards
• Liaising with management in menu planning and development
• Providing excellent customer service and responding promptly to customer requests
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely meal preparation
• Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Chef, Minimum 1 years
• Strong cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities
• Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
• Min Qualification Certificate iv Commercial Cookery
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude
• Current Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $76,000.00 – $105,018.73 per year
