The Role
As a Commercial Analyst, you will support the commercial team by delivering high-quality financial analysis, modelling and reporting that underpins key commercial and strategic decisions. This is a newly created role, offering strong exposure to tenders, pricing activity and stakeholder engagement across a complex and fast-paced organisation.
Reporting to the Commercial leadership team, you will play a hands-on role in generating and maintaining financial models, producing recurring reports and supporting ad hoc analysis to help the business understand performance, manage risk and drive value.
Key responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining financial models to support tenders, pricing and commercial decisions
Generating and maintaining recurring reports (daily, weekly and monthly)
Supporting cost build-ups, margin analysis and validation of commercial assumptions
Assisting with tender activity, including analytical support during peak periods
Producing clear, accurate analysis to support decision-making across the commercial and finance teams
Managing multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and data accuracy
What you’ll bring
A strong commitment to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Economics & Engineering
Experience in an analytical, commercial or accounting-focused role
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with high attention to detail
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial models
Experience with SAP, Power BI and the ability to present insights clearly (including at senior stakeholder level)
