Job Summary

Lead the financial operations of a multi-brand restaurant group, ensuring compliance with Singapore financial regulations and delivering strategic financial insights to support business growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, bank cash flow, and month-end settlements to maintain accurate financial records
• Ensure compliance with Singapore financial regulations and effectiveness of all financial activities
• Conduct management audits and oversee Goods and Services Tax (GST) registration, filing, and compliance with Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) requirements
• Review and monitor key business contracts to protect the company’s financial interests
• Organize and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to guarantee accuracy and timeliness of financial data
• Design and optimize financial structures to minimize tax and legal risks while providing professional financial advice and support
• Verify accuracy of invoices, receipts, and supplier statements to maintain zero backlog
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory agencies to ensure regulatory compliance

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, or ACCA/CPA qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management roles
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Tax and Audit laws, GST regulations, and IRAS filing requirements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience in the F&B or retail industry
