General Accountant

We are a growing ISP seeking a hands-on General Accountant to support accurate financial recordkeeping, reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations. This role will also help guide two bookkeepers to ensure transactions are properly recorded in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and aligned with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks Online
• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts
• Prepare draft financial statements, including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
• Supervise and guide bookkeepers to ensure accurate and timely data entry
• Support the Finance Head with financial reports and process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
• Familiarity with accruals, reconciliations, COGS, OPEX, and CAPEX
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff is an advantage
