Medical Assistant

Pain Experts is a physician-owned interventional pain management practice dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a professional and compassionate environment. We are seeking a reliable, energetic Medical Assistant who enjoys working closely with patients and being part of a small, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Document patient history and update electronic medical records (Tebra experience preferred)
• Assist physician with examinations and office procedures
• Prepare procedure paperwork and coordinate scheduling
• Obtain and track prior authorizations
• Communicate with imaging centers, pharmacies, attorneys, and referring providers as needed
• Answer patient questions and assist with follow-up care
• Manage clinical documentation and scan records into the EMR
• Maintain examination rooms and clinical supplies

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience
• Pain management, orthopedic, PM&R, neurology, spine, or surgery office experience strongly preferred
• Experience obtaining insurance authorizations preferred
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently

Pay: $22.49 - $29.37 per hour
