Optical Dispenser

About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Optical Dispenser to join the team on a casual basis.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys the technical side of dispensing, takes pride in accuracy, and can step in and support a busy store when needed. Ideal if you’re after flexibility or looking to pick up additional days.

Availability on Saturdays is essential.

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting customers with frame selection, focusing on fit and comfort
• Interpreting prescriptions and recommending suitable lens options
• Taking accurate measurements (PDs, multifocal heights, adjustments)
• Fitting, adjusting, and troubleshooting glasses
• Keeping orders and records up to date
• Supporting the day-to-day flow of the store

What we’re looking for

• 2-3+ years of optical dispensing experience
• Confident working independently and jumping into a busy environment
• Strong attention to detail across all aspects of dispensing
• Clear, friendly communication with customers and team
• Reliable and adaptable
