Sales Manager

Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for meeting the sales targets of the organization through effective planning and budgeting.

• Plans sales trips, under the direct approval of Director of Sales & Marketing to major market areas, calling on accounts within his / her specific market areas. Reports to Director of Sales on potential markets needing coverage.
• Provides feedback to the Director of Sales and Marketing on changing market conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone calls in his / her market areas.

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or any related field

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong knowledge of hotel sales strategies, market segmentation, account management, and revenue generation
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and hotel sales systems; highly organized, results-driven, and able to lead sales initiatives effectively
