About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and professional Sales Department Manager to provide leadership, direction, and strategic focus to our dedicated sales team. This rare opportunity is ideal for an established sales leader looking to take the next rewarding step in their career within a respected and growing organisation. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a critical role in driving future growth, developing sales strategies, and strengthening customer and franchisor relationships.

Leadership & Strategic Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Drive overall business growth through effective sales strategy and customer engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, key accounts, and the franchisor
  • Provide strategic direction and insights to support sustainable business performance
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Set and manage short- and long-term sales targets and ensure compliance with sales processes
  • Execute new business development initiatives while maintaining existing customer relationships
  • Monitor sales performance, market trends, stock levels and financial results, identifying areas for action
  • Coach, develop and support the sales team through feedback, training and regular sales meetings
  • Ensure accurate reporting, system records and promotional activity align with company standards
  • Promote and adhere to company WHS policies and procedures at all times
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in truck sales or strong industry technical knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proactive, can-do approach
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a friendly and professional manner
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Exceptional communication skills, both internal and external
  • Ability to follow and maintain established systems and processes
  • A current Heavy Duty Truck licence is advantageous but not essential
